For four days this September, New Scientist Live will be a place like nowhere else on Earth. Courtesy of the team behind the world’s most popular science weekly, the inaugural New Scientist Live is a four-day festival of discovery taking place at ExCeL London. The European Space Agency and Airbus will be showcasing the ExoMars Rover set for launch in 2020 • The Bloodhound Project will be bringing their 1000mph car • Imperial College London will have the theme of ‘“Biology meets technology” and will be bringing their robotics • Microsoft Tech Lab will offer visitors free masterclasses on how to code • Lab Rats by Guerilla Science – an immersive theatre experience where visitors will be invited to be the subject of experiments usually performed by rodents • Rentokil Pestaurant serving up bugs and other tasty treats • Control Room Doomsday scenarios • Plus many more
